The above photo depicts my favorite sport: REST.
It’s been a great week of workouts. Hit speed, tempo, cycling, and TDM. I’ve finally got my head in the half marathon game. That means prioritizing my key running workouts over additional strength training or tri base-building.
(Wait, who just wrote that sentence ’cause it definitely wasn’t the Shauna I knew for the first 30 years of my life…)
It also means listening to my body and choosing rest when rest sounds especially awesome. “Choosing rest” includes choosing not to feel guilty when I have time for an additional workout and opt to watch Top Chef instead.
